On a hot and humid evening at the Rajamangala Stadium in Bangkok, motorsport stars battled in the 25th Race of Champions, behind the wheels of cars like KTM X-Bows, Audi R8 LMS, VW Scirocco, Lamborghini Gallardo Super Trofeo Stradale and the Toyota GT86.

The German domination continued with Michael Schumacher and current F1 champion Sebastian Vettel winning this year’s Nations Cup, beating Team France in the finals. The Germans has now won the event an incredible six times on the trot.  Their domination was complete as they completed a clean sweep all ten races, which incidentally matches their combined F1 championships.

In the group stages the trio defeated India and Thailand before beating the Australian pair of former MotoGP champion Mick Doohan and V8 Supercar champion Jamie Whincup in the semi-finals. In the final, Schumacher beat Romain Grosjean in the KTM X-Bows and Vettel sealed the title by out-performing Sebastien Ogier.
